The project, the dream ❤

This gastronomic and cultural project was born from the hands of Jordi and Cristina at the beginning of 2014. After training and learning alongside great hospitality professionals, they decided to create a different gastronomic space in Camprodon, in Ripollès, his native land. 
 
​This space is called Cal Marquès and is defined as a restaurant with well-prepared Catalan cuisine that offers a modern and professional service style. Cal Marquès is a unique place not only because of the space it has (an old and emblematic building of the town) but also because of its cuisine, the careful and detailed service and the team work philosophy it exudes.

Cal Marquès aims to make a traditional cuisine by adding new execution techniques and using the product that the nearest land gives us each season. The idea of Restaurant that we have is very broad. We try to transport each diner to the memory of Catalan cuisine, the one made by our grandmothers, to their roots and of course to our land.

Since January 2023, Cal Marquès Restaurant has been selected by the prestigious Michelin Guide as a recommended restaurant in our area. 

We look for ways to excite you beyond feeding you.
